Here are two original Piranesi etchings available which were obtained by the owner John Anthony Miller in 1987. Both etchings are framed and have rag backs. Each etching features a letter from Butterfield & Butterfield which is held in an envelope on the back of the dust cover of each stating the 1986 value of each was approximately $300 dollars at that time. The novelty regarding these etchings that makes them a rare find is that these are small Piranesi's, each measuring 10-1/4 inches across each image in the largest dimension. Usually Piranesi intaglios are rather large. Both are views of Rome and the works are in Very Good condition. Shipping out of the country will be considered.
